Charles A. Purkerson was buried at the Lindley Prairie cemetery on the first of March. Uncle Charley had been in very poor health for more than a year; at times his death was hourly expected.

Administrator's Notice.
Notice is hereby given that Letters of Administration upon the Estate of Charles A. Purkerson, dec'd, have been granted to the undersigned, by the Judge of Probate Court of Cedar county, bearing date the 9th day of April 1895.
All persons having claims against said Estate are required to exhibit them to me for allowance, within one year from the date of said letters, or they may be precluded from any benefit of such estate; and if said claims be not exhibited within two years from the date of said letters, they will be forever barred.
