WILLIAM R. SNYDER
County clerk, T. N. Woodruff and his deputy, Chas. A. Hendricks, are
carefully looking after the duties of their responsible positions. Amos
Hackett, and his deputy, Jas. W. Willett, have full sway in the Circuit
clerk and Recorder's office. They fill the bill admirably. Judge Lindley
is looking after the affairs of the Probate Judges office. W. W. Younger
is doing his duty as County attorney. W. H. Sanders, Treasurer, is
keeping tab on the funds as they come into his hands and we can assure
our readers that his books will always tally. The collector's office,
with Jas. P Hartley as chief and Billy Snyder, deputy, is running
with a full head of steam Frank Hackleman is ready, on notice to make
surveys for any and all, and will keep on the line. Doctor Marquis as
coroner, is ready for duty's call. Our County court, Judges Crawford,
Floyd and Brown, will guard with eagle eyes the welfare of the county.
Jerry Paynter will deal cleverly with all while taking the county
assessment. All will do their duty.
Every officer is a Republican of the red, white and
blue stripe.

W. R. SNYDER DEAD.
W. R. Snyder. 48 years old and a resident of Muskogee for 14 years, died at his home at 1627 Wiswell Place at 9 o'clock this morning. Death was caused by heart failure.
Mr. Snyder was employed at the Indian Agency, worked up to a day before his death but had been complaining of ill health for several weeks. Especially was he noticed to be ill yesterday when he frequently complained of not feeling well.
He is survived by his wife, seven girls and two boys, all of whom live in Muskogee with the exception of Mrs. A. A. Hammer, of Tulsa.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Masonic Lodge of A. F. and A. M. Will Conduct Services at Grave
The funeral of W. R. Snyder, who died at his home here yesterday morning, will be held at the M. E. church on Houston street this afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Perry E. Price officiating.
Muskogee lodge 28, A. F. and A. M., will take charge of the body at the church, and will conduct services at the grave.

W. R. Snyder Dead.
A message came to Charles Masters Tuesday informing him of the death of W. R. Snyder at Muskogee, Okla. Mr. Snyder was about 50 years old and was elected county collector of Cedar county in 1894. He had been in Muskogee the past 18 years. The last ten or twelve years he had led a very devout Christian life. Old friends and neighbors extend deepest sympathy to the widow and children.---Stockton Republican.
